Our top-of-the-line dental technology, utilized by Dr. Sameet Sheth helps ensure that every diagnosis is precise and each treatment meets the highest standards of effectiveness and efficiency. From advanced digital x-rays and intraoral scans to sophisticated CBCT imaging, our modern tools allow for safer, faster, and more accurate dental care. Explore how our leading-edge technology can not only enhance your treatment, but also your comfort and convenience.

Ceramic 3D Printing

Ceramic 3D printing is a cutting-edge technology often used in the creation of same-day dental prosthetics such as crowns, porcelain veneers, and inlays and onlays. Utilizing a digital scan of a patient’s dental measurements, ceramic material is precisely layered and hardened through a computer-controlled process. This method generally offers better accuracy and speed compared to traditional manufacturing, resulting in natural-looking dental restorations that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly durable. The technology’s capabilities help reduce waiting times and the number of dental visits required, often improving patient satisfaction.

SprintRay 3D Printing

State-of-the-art SprintRay 3D printing is primarily employed for dental applications. This system leverages advanced digital light processing to produce high-precision dental products like crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic appliances. SprintRay’s printers work by projecting UV light onto a resin material, curing it layer by layer to build dental structures quickly and efficiently. The technology often completes jobs in a fraction of the time traditional methods require.

Digital X-Rays

Digital x-rays are a common and modern imaging technology that uses electronic sensors instead of traditional dental photography. This method captures detailed images of a patient’s teeth, gums, and jaw, typically providing immediate viewing and analysis. Digital x-rays emit significantly lower levels of radiation compared to conventional x-rays, usually enhancing patient safety. The high-resolution images can help dentists diagnose conditions early, such as cavities, bone loss, and infections, with greater accuracy.

CBCT

Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an innovative imaging technology that provides 3D images of a patient’s teeth, soft tissues, nerve pathways, and bone in a single scan. Unlike traditional x-rays, CBCT uses a cone-shaped beam of radiation that captures data from multiple angles, which is then reconstructed into a 3D image by a computer. This detailed visualization aids in more precise diagnosis and treatment planning for a range of dental issues, including implant placement, orthodontics, and complex tooth extractions. CBCT is also known for its ability to improve surgical accuracy while minimizing patient exposure to radiation.

Intraoral Scans

Intraoral scanners are revolutionary dental devices that capture high-resolution, 3D digital images of a patient’s teeth and gums directly in the mouth. This technology eliminates the need for traditional impression materials, offering a more comfortable and faster experience for patients. Intraoral scans can be highly accurate, helping to develop precise dental treatments. The digital data can be instantly viewed and adjusted by dentists, ensuring an optimal fit and function of dental restorations. These scans can also be easily shared with dental labs or specialists, enhancing collaboration and efficiency in treatment planning and execution.
